On April 24, 2024, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Abdulrahman Al-Rassi.

During the meeting, the information on the Preparatory Process for the Third High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028”, which will be held on June 10-13, 2024 in Dushanbe, was presented.

The sides also exchanged views on issues of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations.

On 12 March 2023, in Riyadh, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi met with the Vice-Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia for Mining Affairs Mr. Khalid Al-Mudaifer.

During the meeting, issues of mutual interest were discussed, including ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the industrial and mining sectors.

On 7 March 2023, in Riyadh, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi met with the CEO of Saudi Exports Development Authority Mr. Abdulrahman Althukair.

During the meeting, issues of mutual interest, including ways to solve logistical problems and mechanisms for expanding trade turnover between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia were discussed.

On 27 February 2023, in Riyadh, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi met with the newly appointed Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf (GCC) Mr. Jassem Albudaiwi.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the GCC in areas of mutual interest were discussed. The parties also exchanged views on topical regional and international issues.
