On May 30, 2024, on the sidelines of the Third Ministerial Meeting “Central Asia – Italy” in Rome, a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the EU Special Representative for Central Asia Ms. Terhi Hakala took place.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in details the ways to expand cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union in the political, economic and security spheres, and also exchanged views on the current situation in the region and the world.

The parties also discussed the preparations process of the Third Dushanbe Water Conference.
