On march 14th, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Farhod Salim received the copy of Credential of the newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangkadesh to the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Mohammad Monirul Islam.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on current state and prospects for development of relations and other issues of mutual interest.

The Deputy Foreign Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Tajikistan.

We are deeply saddened to learn that as a result of explosions and the ensuing fire in the container depot near the city of Chittagong, Bangladesh, many people have lost their lives and many others were injured.

We extend our sincere condolences to the friendly and brotherly people and the Government of Bangladesh and wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and swift recovery to the injured.
