On December 25, 2023, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Zarobiddin Kosimi, met with the President of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) of Egypt, Hossam Heiba.

 

 

 

 

At the meeting, issues related to the development of trade and economic cooperation and investment between the two countries were discussed, including the coordination of draft documents being studied by the two parties, as well as the preparation and presentation of new documents on cooperation to simplify bilateral relations.

 

 

 

The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere, where both sides emphasized their readiness to strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation.

On July 27, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Tajikistan (with residence in Astana) Muhammad Saeed Muhammad Al Ariki.

 

 

 

 

Al Ariki conveyed the official invitation of the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon to participate in the 28th UN Conference on Climate Change (COP-28), which will be held from November 30 to December 12, 2023 in Dubai.

 

 

 

 

The parties discussed the current situation and prospects for relations between the two friendly countries in all areas.

During the visit and familiarization with the activities of the Academy, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan met with the President of the Academy, Professor Ismail Abdel Ghafar, as well as its teachers, senior officials and experts.

 

 

 

At the meeting, issues of establishing cooperation in the field of education and scientific and technical research were discussed.
